Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Whats4Dinner? mobile application ("App") operated by JoRi Digital ("we," "our," or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Whats4Dinner? is a mobile application that allows users to scan ingredients using their device camera and receive recipe suggestions. The App may also provide dietary information, ingredient tracking, and related features.

3. User Accounts

• You may be required to create an account to access certain features.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You agree to provide accurate and current information.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or networks
• Upload malicious code or content
• Use the App to collect information about other users without consent
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the App

5. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are the property of JoRi Digital or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Recipes and content generated by the App are provided for personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from App content without our written permission.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the App (such as saved recipes or notes). By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and process that content as necessary to provide the service.

7. Subscriptions and Payments

Certain features of the App may require a paid subscription. If applicable:

• Subscription fees are billed through the App Store or Google Play.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the end of the current billing period.
• Refund policies are governed by the applicable app store's terms.

8. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Ingredient recognition will be 100% accurate
• Recipe suggestions will meet specific dietary or nutritional requirements

The App does not provide medical or nutritional advice. Always verify ingredients for allergies and dietary restrictions independently. We are not liable for any adverse reactions resulting from recipes or ingredient information provided by the App.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JoRi Digital shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App, regardless of the theory of liability.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or fifty dollars ($50), whichever is greater.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JoRi Digital, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes through the App or by other appropriate means. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in the State of California.
